Zrtx - Winged Victory (SSSM)

The real name behind it is Johnny van de Koolwijk, who has been active since around 2000, initially under the alias Dead Husbands and other short-lived names, before settling on ZRTX / Zyrtax. He is also the founder and operator of Dead Mind Records (based in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands), a key label in the underground industrial, noise, and experimental tape scene since 2000. The label specializes in reissues of early industrial material, harsh noise, power electronics, and related genres, while also releasing new works from ZRTX and collaborators.

Loop-based structures dominate - heavy, repetitive electronic rhythms, metallic textures, distorted feedback, crushed vocals (when present), field recording fragments, and analog synth abuse create dense, oppressive "harsh and industrial soundscapes."
It's aggressive and dark, yet often structurally deep rather than pure walls of noise. Many tracks evoke ritualistic, invasive, or psychologically corrosive atmospheres - not just aggression, but a sense of sonic erosion or immersion in decayed industrial environments.

The Dutch industrial/noise tradition (DIY, tape culture, bleak and confrontational) remains strong, and ZRTX embodies its continuation while expanding through international collabs.
