UNCODIFIED is an Italian power electronics / harsh industrial project from Sardinia, led by veteran artist Corrado Altieri. It stands as one of the leading contemporary voices in Italy’s influential experimental underground scene.
Corrado Altieri has been active in experimental music since the early 1990s, starting with post-punk and wave influences before fully committing to extreme electronic sound. UNCODIFIED began as his solo vehicle around 2011, allowing him to focus purely on raw, confrontational noise and power electronics, distinct from his other projects like Monosonik or Candor Chasma.

The sound creates a suffocating, dystopian atmosphere that evokes societal collapse, control, alienation, and erased humanity. It carries the legacy of Italian industrial pioneers (M.B., Sigillum S, Atrax Morgue, etc.) while pushing forward with a personal and contemporary edge.
Notable releases include the 2024 album Erased People (Dunkelheit Produktionen), which features heavy synth-driven tracks full of tension and release. Other key works have appeared on labels such as Unrest, Old Europa Cafe, and Nil By Mouth. Altieri has also collaborated with artists like Wertham, Gianluca Favaron, Simon Balestrazzi, and Maurizio Bianchi.
