The inaugural release from Ngwale Records, Nduna Mkomanile Remixed, marks the label’s first-ever release, bringing together 16 tracks by African Imperial Wizard, fully remixed and reimagined. Available as an exclusive gatefold double vinyl, the album is distributed worldwide by Tesco Distribution Germany and lays the foundations for a newly forged ritual realm, entirely reshaped by experimental artists from the international scene.
Far more than a simple remix album, Nduna Mkomanile Remixed is a contemporary occult ceremony invoking ancestral spirits. Each reinterpretation, drawing from dark ambient, noise, and ceremonial forms, amplifies the martial intensity of African Imperial Wizard, transforming its hymns into new sonic weapons.
Each remixer channels a deathweaver, dissecting, sacrificing, and reanimating the source material.
